Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Monday night we went to the watch the Rangers again!  By the time Sam and I both got off work, made it home, got little one ready, ate dinner, parked and walked to the stadium, we missed all the Pudge retirement festivities.  They were playing the Yankees.  I think it will be cool one day to tell him that he was at the ballpark when Pudge retired, and saw Sabathia, Jeter, and other big names in person.
We have a baseball fan on our hands.  Henry was so great again.  The first really loud cheer still scares him, but he is fine after that.  He is such a wiggle worm it's hard to watch the game, but we love taking him.  He was talking, chewing on his hands, kicking, pulling my hair out (a new super fun trick!) and checking out everyone around us.  He had quite a few admirers.  The lady behind us watched him all game, then at the end told us, "She is so cute!  Is this her first game?"  I didn't have the heart to tell her that he is a boy.
The Rangers are 0-2 when Henry is in attendance.  Don't tell superstitious Uncle Christopher, he won't let Hank come to any more games!  Check out the future 2037 American League MVP!!

Seriously Mom., no more pictures.  I'm trying to watch the game.

  1. Just so you know . . . the older they get (at least through the Toddler stage) the harder it is to watch a game! I've been to several over the last two ad a half years and I don't think I've watched a single second of any of them!! Haven't been to one with 3 kids yet . . . 2 kids was hard enough!
