It's Baseball Time in Texas!

   IT'S BASEBALL SEASON!!!!
Sunburns, ballpark nachos,  $8 soft drinks, Pat Green's "I Like Texas", perfect ballpark sunsets, Rangers on tv every night...I'm excited.

Sam and I got 20-game season tickets the past 2 years, and this year we got the 10-game package.  We figured it may be difficult to make it to 20 games in the heat of a Texas summer with a little one.  Sam's parents came to town Friday and watched little Hank, and Sam and I went to Opening Day.  It was much-need "Sam and Amy time".  We tailgated with our friends before the game.  Most people would make cheap hot dogs, chips, and bean dip before a baseball game.  Not our friend Garrett.  He had bacon-wrapped jalapenos filled with cream cheese, gourmet burgers, the works.  It was amazing.

Saturday we also went to the game, and this time brought little Hank.  I wasn't sure how he would do.  3 hours at a baseball game + who knows how long in traffic could be a recipe for disaster.  He was amazing!  When we first got there it was loud and he got scared, but after that he really liked to look around and watch everyone.  He fell asleep for a few innings, and got a little fussy in the 9th, but did great.  I think we have a baseball fan on our hands!
The loud noises were scary at first
