June

June has been so great.  Not too hot, not too busy, and I'm cherishing my last couple of months as a (part-time) stay at home mom.  Here's what we have been up to!
Sawyer ADORES his big brother.  He tries so hard to play with him, but mostly just tries to touch him.  Sawyer wants to play with Henry's toys now, which has led to some brotherly fights.  And so it begins...

We took the boys to a Ranger game earlier this month.  It was Sawyer's first game, and Henry's first game where he actually understood what was going on.  He insisted on bringing his glove.  The boys did pretty well, but by 9:30, they made it very clear that it was time to go home.

Sawyer got to try finger painting for the first time.  He's a natural!

We celebrated Father's Day with the best daddy!  Sam is so very involved with the boys, and does not hesitate to help in any way he can.  He's always ready to step in and play when I need a break, and read a Rangers baseball program before bedtime.

Since the weather has been so nice, we have spent lots of time at the park, zoo, going on walks, and playing outside.

Henry wearing a "Take It Slow" shirt.  Oh, the irony.

I love baby feet

A squirt bottle filled with water kept him entertained for nearly 30 minutes.
He squirted every inch of the playground.

Sawyer is wondering where his popsicle is

Love his cheesy smile

My brother and his family came to visit this week!  It's the first time the 3 cousins have been together.  Sawyer LOVES Faith.  She tolerated him well.

We are also making a couple of "big boy" transitions in the Morgan household.  We are attempting to move Henry to a big boy bed again.  It did NOT go well when we tried in February.  But Sawyer has been sleeping in a pack & play or bassinet his whole life, and I think it's time he gets to sleep in a crib.  The day after we got Henry's brand new mattress, he spilled his fish's food ALL OVER it.  He blamed it on his blanket.

We are also potty training Henry.  We used his toy to show how to get to the potty quickly, go potty, then empty it and flush.  Henry LOVED this and asked to do it over and over.  This is Handy Manny sitting on the potty, and Henry squirting teetee (water) into the potty.

Henry is actually doing pretty well.  He had a couple of accidents yesterday morning, but hasn't had an accident in 24 hours!  (Knock on wood)  However, by noon yesterday I had cleaned up Henry's messes, stuck my hand in  Sawyer's poopy diaper, and Sawyer pooped in the tub during his bath.  Mom desperately needed a Dr. Pepper.

He felt like he needed to add to all the poop
happening in the Morgan home

The boys playing ball.  Melts my heart.
