Henry Goes to the Pumpkin Patch

We took Henry to a pumpkin patch today!  It had pumpkins, Dr. Pepper, kettle corn, and farm animals......just throw in some puppies and Jesus, and this is what my heaven looks like.  It's seriously everything that's wonderful about fall, thrown into a few glorious acres.  And the weather was perfect.  I want to go back RIGHT NOW.

This is a TINY potbellied pig that let me rub her nose.  I shall name her Pearl.

We finished our day by eating kettle corn and watching the kids on the playground.
I can't wait to take Hank next year when he's a little older.  He's going to love the hayride, corn maze, hay house, face painting, and playground.  And it will give me an excuse to do all those things, too :)

Tricks:  Claps, gives high fives, plays peekaboo, talks ALL THE TIME

Likes:  Watching cars, playing with his friends at school, watching Major, opening and closing the DVD player repeatedly, Puffs, strawberries, being naked, grilled cheese, dirt (as you will see), taking everything  out of kitchen cabinets

Dislikes:  being told "no", being put in time out after ignoring "no", most new foods, having his diaper changed

Meredith and John's Wedding!

Last weekend we went to Abilene for Meredith and John's wedding.   It was cold.  Like, 45 degrees and windy cold.  The ceremony was held outside in front of a barn. I wish I took more pictures of the reception area, but Henry was sick so we stayed inside most of the time. It was gorgeous and so stinkin' sweet.
I love this picture-Aren't they the cutest?!

Henry's job in the wedding was to sit nicely in a wagon and let someone pull him down the aisle.
Wagon attempt #1...

Wagon attempt #2.....

Look at sweet, angelic cousin Will in this picture, and then Henry mid-tantrum.
Will gives Henry this look a lot.

Flirting with the precious flower girl, Kiersyn

Beautiful, beautiful bride

Wagon attempt #3...Not happy about it, but he'll do it for Aunt Meredith.

I tried to take his puppy dog pacifier out several times before he went down the aisle, but Henry was not going to let that happen.  So he went down with his paci in.  :(

I love this!  Right before Meredith walked down the aisle, everyone put on fake mustaches.

It was such a sweet night.  John and Meredith are perfect for each other, and we are so excited that John is (finally!) officially part of the family!  CONGRATULATIONS, JOHN & MEREDITH!!!
