Baby Shower! (I guess that means this is really happening.)

Baby #2  had such a cute baby shower at school today!  My co-teacher went WAY overboard, especially since this isn't my first baby.  (Jenny, you're amazing.)  Look at all this cuteness.

One of our precious infant teachers made a onesie cookie for each of the students.
So adorable, right?!  And they taste A-MAZING.

I wish I had taken a picture of the gift table when all the gifts were on it.  Such generous parents.

Everyone wrote little jokes/encouragement on the diapers for
those middle of the night diaper changes.

36 weeks pregnant. Yikes.

The students guessed whether it's a boy or girl.  Boys win 7-6!  We shall see.

And my wonderful co-teacher made this little diaper motorcycle.
Is it not the cutest thing you've ever seen?!  It is, right?
I bought a double stroller earlier this week from a friend, and it's less than 1 month until my due date. I think I need to come to grips with the fact that this is happening.  I'm excited to meet this little one.  But I'm also nervous about how much life is about to change.  We sort of have a routine right now-school 3 days/week, playdates on Friday, toddler time on Tuesday, go to bed at 8:30 and sleep all night... our life is about to get turned upside down!

Pictures!

I don't mean to brag, but my baby is really good at making paper lions.

Oh, that dimple.

I would like to say that there is a good reason he is swimming naked in a pool of bubbles in the yard.  But there's not.  Just a regular Tuesday in the Morgan household.  PS-Right after this picture was taken, our neighbor's chicken flew into our yard.  So he was running around naked, chasing a chicken.

Henry got to celebrate Audrey's 2nd birthday!  Here he is, with all his lady friends

He's not supposed to have his pacifier (except for bedtime), so he improvised
and used a bottle nipple he found in a drawer

This is his "silly face"

Swimming at a friend's house, and talking things over with Sammie

My brother got married!!!!!  Isn't he cute?
I don't have a picture of him and his wife, but she's precious.
Yay, Adam and Brooke!

And this is my best friend/cousin.  I'm due in October, she's due in December.  We totally planned that.
Excited to ride the train

Our first big injury.  Sam and Henry were playing, and he ran into the corner of the coffee table.
But he got a popsicle and cookies out of the deal.

Ready for college football season!

Having a little snack- Mom's belly makes the perfect tv tray.

I don't even know what to say about this picture.  It's just Henry-almost naked, dirty, with a cut on his eye.
He's the best.

July

Fourth of July had everything you could want:
Swimming,
Shades,

Watermelon,

and fireworks!

Waiting to meet his new cousin, Reese!

Talking things over with his cousin, Will

The boy loves to clean

We rode the Forest Park train with Possum, Grandma, and Will

Zoo Day with Cousins!

We went to the zoo today with my sister-in-law, Lauren, and my niece and nephew!  It was rainy, muggy, and so much fun.
We had to walk around the gift shop for a little while to wait for the rain to stop.
The delay did not dampen the boys' spirit!

They are so excited and ready to go!
You would not believe how hard it is to get two toddlers to look at the camera and smile at the same time!

I'll Try Again Tomorrow.

Typical School Day:
I pick Henry up from his class and chat with his teachers about his latest antics.  We go home, he eats a healthy snack.  We play, dance, sing, wrestle, cuddle, go on a walk, etc. until Sam gets home.  We cook a Pinterest recipe for dinner.  The only time we turn on the tv is at 7:00 to watch the Rangers, and Henry is only allowed to have his pacifier at bedtime.

Today:
I pick Henry up from his class and he is wearing a skin-tight size 6 month onesie, and no pants or shoes.  He got dirty today, and apparently I haven't put another change of clothes in his diaper bag since the beginning of school last September.  We go home and I let Henry have off-brand Cinnamon Toast Crunch for snack.  I sit my huge pregnant butt on the couch, and Henry and I eat an entire bag of barbecue potato chips while watching The Bachelorette.  He switches back and forth between not one, but two pacifiers in his hand.  Sam gets home and we order a pizza for dinner.

I'll try again tomorrow.
